Why use wheel HP instead of crank HP?

Wheel HP (measured on a dyno) accounts for drivetrain losses. Crank HP is higher but doesn't reach the wheels. Use wheel HP for accurate predictions.

How accurate are these predictions?

Within 0.2-0.3 seconds under ideal conditions. Real results depend on traction, driver skill, weather, and altitude.

What about automatic vs manual?

Automatics with converters often launch better. Manuals require more skill. These formulas assume good launches.

What's a good 60-foot time?
