What's more important, HP or weight?
Both matter equally in the ratio. Losing 100 lbs has the same effect as gaining ~5-10 HP on most vehicles. Weight reduction also improves handling and braking.
Why is torque-to-weight included?
Torque determines real-world acceleration feel, especially from a stop. High torque-to-weight means stronger off-the-line performance without needing to rev high.
How accurate are the 0-60 estimates?
Estimates are based on power-to-weight correlation but actual times depend on gearing, traction, transmission type, and driver skill. Consider them ballpark figures.
Should I use wheel HP or crank HP?
Manufacturer specs are crank HP. If you have dyno numbers (wheel HP), add ~15% for automatic or ~12% for manual to approximate crank HP.
